Sat 25th Apr 2009: The Lord Tennyson The Lord Tennyson train left London on Saturday morning and was on a route that went through Spalding station to Lincoln. The train was supposed to be headed by the steam locomotive The Oliver Cromwell but unfortunately that engine failed a check the day before. The train was then pulled by West Coast Diesel 57601 with 47786 'Roy Castle OBE' at the rear.
